Capital Improvement Campaign
Goal: $500,000 80%

We have currently raised 80% of our goal,

but still have $100,000 to go…

The construction budget for our building renovations and goal for our Capital Improvement Campaign is $500,000.  The renovations to our building will allow us to more efficiently use our space and better serve our community by housing several programs and services in one family resource facility. The updated campus will include:
  • Main Street Thrift store expansion and relocation to the front of the building, with entrance directly on Main Street
  • Specific donation and sorting center for thrift store
  • Grand Beginnings space
  • Grand Seniors at Mountain Family Center space (including staff office and community room for seniors)
  • Completely remodeled educational kitchen (sponsored by Lions Club Foundation International)
  • Expanded lobby and waiting area
  • Expanded food pantry, with windows (our volunteers are excited!)
  • Women Infant & Children (WIC) satellite location
  • Grand County Social Services “Employment First” satellite location
  • Plus, all existing MFC programs and services which focus on nutritional education & wellness, hunger relief, community support, and individual & family development.
