About John
John retired in May of 2015 and he and his wife Mary moved to Granby full time. They spent the previous 22 years in Conifer, Colorado where John was the principal of a consulting firm that developed and evaluated disease prevention, disease management, and wellness programs. They know Grand County well because they purchased a 2nd property here in 1994 where they ultimately decided to retire. John has always been a supporter of his communities serving on non-profit boards like the Mountain Resource Center in Conifer where he led a capital campaign to build a new facility and the Conifer Area Council which served as the quasi-governmental sounding board for unincorporated towns in the southern area of Jefferson County. John currently serves part time as the Grand and Jackson Counties Adviser for Health Links, a wellness resource for small employers, offered by the University of Colorado School of Public Health. He is also on the Project Management Team for the Grand County Public Health Assessment and Strategic Planning Process.
