Please join us as we unveil our newly-renovated campus! In January of 2018, Mountain Family Center was able to purchase our building at 480 E. Agate with a USDA Rural Development loan. In order to utilize our space most efficiently, plans were developed for several changes, updates and improvements. With generous donations and support from community partners, we were able to begin renovations in spring of 2019. On October 2nd, we invite you to wander through and see all that our new space will have to offer, including:
– Main Street Thrift expansion
– Specific thrift donation and sorting center
– Grand Beginnings space
– Grand Seniors at Mountain Family Center space
– Completely remodeled educational kitchen
– Expanded lobby and waiting area
– Expanded food pantry (with windows!)
These improvements have been made with one goal in mind: help Grand County residents access the resources they need to overcome challenges, move forward through crisis and build strength & self-reliance for themselves and their families.
