The holidays can be a time of joy, but for many families facing hardship it can unfortunately create the dilemma of having to choose between paying rent, utilities and other necessities or participating in the traditional festivities of sharing a holiday meal or providing gifts for their children.

New Program Format for 2023

This year, we are piloting a new format called “Grand County North Pole.”

Drop Off a Gift

You can help ease the burden and make the holidays a time of joy by supporting our Grand County North Pole! Mountain Family Center kicks off the annual gift collection with a “Christmas in July” toy drive where brand new gifts can be dropped off at Chambers of Commerce throughout the county, and then holds our main toy/gift drive starting in October.

Christmas in July – new, unwrapped gifts can be dropped off from July 1-31

More Ways to Help

If you prefer to make a financial contribution that will be used to purchase gifts, you can do that here. We also need lots of volunteer support to run the North Pole in December! If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, please complete the volunteer sign up form.
