Spirit Polar Plunge: Mayor's Challenge!
We may not be able to do a group PLUNGE into Grand Lake this year, but we can still have fun and raise support for Grand County residents battling cancer! Grand Lake Mayor, Steve Kudron, will be plunging with our very own Spirit Bear on June 28th in support of Taking Steps for Cancer, and he challenges YOU to do the same!
Tune in to the Taking Steps for Cancer Facebook page on June 28th at 1pm to watch a LIVE video of the Mayor's plunge! Then, in response to his challenge, take a plunge of your own (think pond, stream, bathtub, barrel...be creative!) and upload to the Taking Steps Facebook page, or to IG using #grandplungeforcancer! Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, and please tell us who you are honoring with your plunge.
During these times, support for this vulnerable population is more important than ever. Please consider making a donation to help provide assistance for those in our county going through treatment.
