Thanksgiving Baskets	The Mountain Family Center will provide 30 Thanksgiving food baskets for Grand County residents who need a little help this year.  Enough extra food will be supplied to help feed the children during their week off of school.  Call for details or to sign up for your basket of food!
Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month	April is recognized as child abuse and neglect prevention month.  The Center provides the community with ribbons, information about recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect.  To report child abuse / neglect in Grand County, please call Social Services at (970) 725-3331.  For more information on prevention, please contact the Center or visit the Colorado Children's Trust Fund website: www.cdphe.state.co.us/ps/cctf
Christmas  Project	Each holiday season, the Center matches generous sponsors with families who need a little help providing their children with a traditional Christmas. Beginning October 15th, the Center will begin taking names of sponsors and applicants for the Christmas Project.  Please call the Center for details.
Thanks-for-Giving Community Dinner	The Center will recognize the people and organizations in the community who have truly made a difference in the lives of Grand County families and individuals.  In 2007, Sue Perkins was named Volunteer of the Year and the Grand County Board of Realtors were named Organization of the Year! THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS!
